I am a digital media specialist working at The Open University – that’s me in the picture waving my arms around!

I provide design methods to assist research colleagues in their practice. I do this by shaping design processes suited to the needs of individual researchers or research teams with the aim of ensuring their work has maximum impact.

I also offer freelance design services, so feel free to get in touch.

I can draw upon over 25 years professional experiences across early multi-media pioneers, advertising agencies and corporate communications prior to joining the university.

At The Open University I have contributed as design lead on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), The Virtual Microscope and nQuire.

I enjoy finding a form of participatory design between myself and the researchers. This form of engagement ensures everyone is fully involved in the outcome.
